i want to creat a data base after open SQL Server Management Studio dont exit any name in combo box of server name and i try to enter any name an error occure

are you asking regarding
CONNECT TO SERVER Window?

check name of window/form you are asking for, then question will be more clear :)

no i want to create a db in sql for this i install sql server 2005 but i coud not creat a db because in firs window i coudnt enter the server name

okay then ask question as below,
"can not connect to sql server, Servername is not available"

this is happen due to sql is not installed properly
when installing sql server it will show you server name if it's blank then give name yourself.

if it's proper installation you will see there combobox, with server name

open run and type services.msc click enter and check in Services Name column SQLServer is start or not.

Note: for 64 bit and 86 bit OS SQL Server setups are different
easiest sql server installation is 'SQLServer2005_SSMSEE..'

Note- this have limitation is it is Standalone (only for one machine)

still you want to use your setup then
ok uninstall it
remove related registry keys
And also remove related folders from c drive
make sure firewall is OFF

and login to administrator account which is by default having all rights in OS
from there install it, for everyone (Not for just me)

when installing,
Configuration checking window should not show any failure or warning
after installation complete,
the last message should show installed successfully , should not give any error

and then make sure SQL service is started(Running) when ever connecting to sql server
