In app Purchase API? - CodeProject

Couple of weeks I saw an ad or article for an in app purchase and fulfillment via credit card if PC had internet connectivity. Such that a programmer could put an app out there with a trial use period and the user could contact a third party credit card proceesor to buy the software and unlock it for permanent use.

Anyone remember what the ad/article was? I deleted the Code Project email that it came in

Windows 8 Apps have an API for in-app purchase and trial periods. Is that what you are thinking about?

Or were you looking for some third party tool kit that does this for other platfroms besides Windows 8 (and if so which platforms do you want / need)?
