Asp.Net smartphone unique client id

Hello all,

Im developing a asp.net web application.It will be mostly used by smartphone users.
Is there any way to identify a client uniquely,example a mac add or smth else?

Why should I expose the MAC address of my machine to you?

The idea is that it will be used only by specific people,inside the company. Anyway i need smth unique,like a serial nr or smth else.
