Replace arraylist in C#

i want to replace arraylist with new collection used in .net4.0
which will be the appropriate collection class???

Each collection has it's own importance. We may be able to help you if you explain what operations you will be doing with that collection?

Look at List<T>[^] - it is the most generic strongly typed list class and replaced ArrayList in version 2.0 IIRC
