Financial Report Design in ASP.NET

Hello,

I have to create one report in asp.net.

Its simple logically, but i want to create user friendly for that i need your suggestions.

Report is for Finance department which may contains Expence plan, actual expence, provisional expence, total expence etc...

Report Display contains following :

# Reports for particular group for each year.

# Four Fields for every month of the year.

Please suggest me some designs for the same.

Solution 1

Impossible question to answer since we don't have access to the specification you are working from. You do have a specification, don't you? If not, how do you know what the user/client wants?

Read this[^]. Might give you some ideas.

actually i need to create Budget vs Actual report for finance department. i just want some idea about GUI, report designs only. I have already created that report but need to change design only so it become easy and more informative for end user.

Then you need to speak to the user to find out what they want which may be very different to what you think they should have.
