I have a database backup in "SQL Server 2008 R2", Can i store this database backup in "SQL 2008 Express" ?

Anyone who have knowledge about SQL-2008 kindly share to me.

Yes this is possible without any problem whatsoever.
I recommend you also install the express version of management studio because via the user interface it is very easy to do.

But "SQL Server 2008 R2" is higher version than "SQL Express-2008". And in MS-SQL we can't get data from Higher version to Lower. I search over this & get the same answer.

But Philip are you confirm that a .BAK file from SQL-2008 R2 is accepted by
SQL Express 2008.

I think it is possible but why would you not simply upgrade your database to R2 too. It's free anyway. To be honest I misread your title, I thought you wanted to move a backup from an enterprise edition to express and that for sure is possible. I think what you try to do should also work because the database structure is probably not changed.
