Zip japanese file in ASP

Hi All,

I am trying to zip Japanese file using "csASPZipFile.MakeZip" component it gives error "csASPZipFile.MakeZip error '8000ffff' Error reading source file" :confused:

But it works fine for English files.
eg: Test File.txt gets zip but "テストファイル.txt" does not.

can you please suggest me what to do

I am using Windows Server 2003 Regional setting English(US).

A suggestion for a workaround:

Can't you copy the japanese file to a tempfile with an English name and zip that?

MUST you retain the japanese name?

but i want same Japanese name for zip file. Thats why i cant use English.
both (Zipped & unziped) File name should be in Japanese.
