can not run asp .net project on localhost

Till now my application was running fine, but now when rebuild and run the application then in browser, it shows blank screen and connecting. And nothing gets displayed at all. And it does not give any error(s).
Browser : IE 7
Windows : XP
.NET : 2.0
I checked out - C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file, it contains the specification - 127.0.0.1 localhost
Error started when i make some changes in global.asax file but even after removing all changes, error persist.
Please help me, its urgent

It's a longshot, but I have seen something like this when I had a circular reference (in particular, a property that was trying to return itself). Maybe there is something like that in a recent change you made.

i ur think ASP.Net web Server was not started..First stop the server and then again build and debugg...

Solution 2

To deploy asp.net web application you need IIS. Take a look at this article - Creating Virtual Directories in IIS.
