I have a user control with a label,textbox and a button, the function of this control is when i clicks the button it should search according to the value in the textboxa and display the contents in the gridview in which the particular user control is kept.

Thank you madhukk for your valuable reply but that doesn,t work for my requirement. i am still working on it but i dont know whether it is suitable for mine since it is on a window form i dont want that
