Solution 1

Silverlight 5 does not support datasets.
So the best bet you have is to use WCF to populate a dataset and then pass it over to the SL client as a collection.
Here[^] is a small example.

But, I am using silverlight 4. i want to display data using silverlight.dataset with wcf services...

could you send me any example on this requirement.

The same example should work with SL 4.
