displaying & printing reports in asp.net using vb.net

hi

i just want to display the reports in multiple page in record wise and in at the bottom of every page i need to display some details like total records ,

if the records are so many they may display in many pages

printing can be done using window.print()..

can any one help me in displaying record in so many pages for easy to print

Why arn't you using some reporting tool like srytal report or SQL Server Report Viewer...it will make your life much easy...
If you have any other concern or plan please point it out so that I can think differently...

Solution 1

Create an rdlc report.

Here, you'll be able to manage bindings to data directly or through your own classes that get filled via your application. The rdlc report viewer has the built in capabilities of printing and/or exporting to excel.
