How to deploy asp.net,c# web application on domain with database?

Hi,
I just completed my project. Now I want to deploy it on web server with database of sql2008. I have a domain in bigrock.in. Is it compulsory to upload .cs files? I dont want to upload .cs files. This is my asp.net web project not website. please help me...

Solution 1

all you need to do is publish your project from your VS in to a folder and upload the contents to your root folder in your domain

NB
do not replace your config file
