Hi All

One of our BA's came across this problem on IE8 where it shares a session.

i.e. She will log onto the web site.
open another instance of IE 8 and go to the site and she will click on the link to take you to the log in page and she will be taken to the page that you get only when you log on.

can any one please assist me on this?

Thank you.

Yes, IE 8 shares session among different Explorer windows. The session is shared between even when you will open a new IE instance as well.

What you can do for test with diffent Session,

In IE 8, Goto File > New Session.

That will work for you !

Found I nice article,
Run Separate Isolated IE8 Window Frame Session with NoMerge Switch for Multiple Logins[^]

@Anton, No, AFAIK, bcos of browser security, Javascript cannot have this priviledge programmatically.
