Good morning,
I have developed an on line attendance and leave application. I have published it on our server in my campus. In one module I have a upload file control through which i upload .csv file. But when i upload that file from another computer on line it doesn't upload that. Why is this so? I am not getting the exact trouble. Please help me out.

I have published my application on my server.
All faculties are using it on line. The application have one user called admin.
Admin daily upload a file (.csv) through a file upload control. The file should be present on user computer in c: drive. But the error is showing invalid path. The problem is that it taking the servers path. It is searching the file on servers C: drive. How to overcome this problem.

Why do you think it wasn't uploaded? Maybe you just did not refresh the page, so you view a page from cache?

Hi reshali,

which browser you run the application?

if you run the application in Internet Explorer just do the following steps.

1. Tools=>Internet Options=>Select Security Tab=>
on this Click on Custom level Settings=>on this Choose Miscellaneous options=>on that enable the include local directory path when uploading files to a server.

This is temporary option.
