minimized window not shown when mouse click icon in taskbar but shown when right click and select restore menu

i have created modeless dialog whose parent set to application mainframe window.
when i minimized the application window and then click the icon of application to restore it again but it didn't restore.but it get restore when right click icon and select restore menu.

How are you creating the Modeless dialog and how are you showing the window? why dont you put the code snippet here so that it becomes easier to understand and help you better,
