how to configure php with mysql in windows xp?

Dear sir/madam,

i want to do one website which should be in php....In my system i have xp os, i have already installed visual studio .net for dot net website..but now i want to do php production in the same system...also i want to use database as mysql which is already installed and working well with dotnet productions..so please help me from the scratch..i tried googling,got few ideas but could not succeed with that..any php developer out there please help with this..

Hi,

For php and mysql in windows you can use WAMP server.

if you have installed IIS server in your xp system then you need to change your default http port from WAMP config file. or you can stop IIS service if you do not need it.
