Hi,

I am developing a website in which i want to add some glossy buttons in it. Since i m not much experienced in designing, i m stuck in it.
Any help/guidance would be appreciated.

If you have no experience and don't want to waste time, I reccomend you this service[^]. I think, if uou google it, you can find better services with rich functionality.

You can achieve it using a combination of CSS and design work.

The background images and fades are done in a program like photoshop, gimp or paint or MS PowerPoint. For this, you need to dive into web design, which means CSS and graphics applications. Or else, as suggested in other answer, you can design & download the glossy looking images from third party websites and use it.

Alternatively, you can work in Silverlight where XAML can provide you an easy rich internet applications.

Meh.. Strange recommendation - use Silverlight because of simple buttons, or because Silverlight is simple when manual web development is hard :)
