thanks :D

Ask your college about job placement. They often have contacts for internships. Since you have graduated, you won't be doing an internship, but you can still make use of their contacts.

Don't be picky. If you are fresh out of college and need experience, why not build it while you are looking for the right job? My first job was to build a simple HTML website and my second was to do quality assurance (that didn't involve any programming). Each job after that was much better.

You don't have to start off by realizing your dream. It's a journey and you need to work toward it (unfortunately, that sometimes means you do not get a job straight out of college).

Submit your resume the the usual job boards that service your area. Your profile says you are from the US, so Monster, Dice, and Career Builder come to mind.

Let your old teachers know you are looking for a job, whether it be QA or programming. Anything to do with websites or software.

Also, work on your English skills. You are on a public forum writing in poor English. Try to improve your public image. You might not associate your real name with this account, but if you communicate like this elsewhere you are in trouble.

Read some posts on Monster.com about how to interview and job seek. That will give you some good pointers (e.g., dress well, have multiple printed resumes, be truthful without oversharing, present a positive attitude, follow up with thank your notes, bypass HR and recruiters when possible, and so on).

Also, while I say to bypass recruiters when possible, feel free to use them for your first jobs. They'll do some leg work and in return you'll probably get a lower salary. That seems like a pretty fair trade. Build your reputation until you don't need them anymore.

By putting your resume out there, recruiters will often contact you. However, you can also research recruiting agencies that service your area. Call them and ask how to get the ball rolling.

thank you for your time and your advice and sorry about my English but may be because i a

and actually i found jobs but not in my career (E.G; customer service, call center companies, sales...etc ) and this jobs i guess takes me away from my way and my career and it will make me forgot about programming..is that what you mean by telling me to do .

and by the way i am not picky i even look for job for free i just need to keep training and get experience so i can find better one in the future.

thanks you very much sir and hope get in contact with u always :D

"sorry about my English but may be because i a" -- you never finished that thought. Your poor English may be your greatest barrier to getting a job.

"i found jobs but not in my career" -- obviously, flipping burgers would be a waste of your time. If you are doing non-programming but you get to work with programmers, that's a start.

"i even look for job for free" -- if you can work for free, spend some of your free time improving open source projects or writing articles here on Code Project. Might as well build your portfolio.

I hope So Mohammed :D but you now the feeling that always follow you that i am looser and every one around me see that cuz i still can`t find the job :)

i have passed through this. Never listen to them. They will know that they are wrong when you find a job. I am from Lebanon and you are from Egypt and we know that o find a work in arab countries it is not easy.

yeah your completely right
Since you are graduated, if I were you during the job seek process I would strongly recommend building up your portfolio. Most of the work places will ask you if you have any experience or a portfolio to look at. If you have couple of thing to show them, it will be beneficial for you. So maybe you can ask your teachers in your university/college if they have a personal page for students. If not you can prepare one for them for free. It doesnt have to be complicated, you can do a simple one.

While preparing a web page, you will face some problems, this will improve your coding skills and increase your experience. As AspDotNetDev recommended, starting as a trainee is not a bad idea at all. After a while if you prove yourself, they will hire you.

Good luck,

OI

Good luck and if you have any questions or if you stuck up you know where to ask to :) we are here to help. It is just the beginning so don't be pessimistic. think as if you will find one eventually. I have also waited 6 months or so before I found my first job so be patient.
Hi,
Why are you depressed ? don't think job is everything. At first make you efficiency for it jobs if you choose your carrier in IT, at first you learn it related courses and make you more efficiency for it jobs. Then prepare for IT interviews.

Hey hey hey dude, all of us had gone through the same situation at the initial stages of our life, as in graduate school u get the degree and real life scenario makes u an engineer.
Dont get upset just figure out what is your actual interest like if you are in IT, its not only the code that too with specific language, testing is there, verity of languages are there, database is there, ERP is something which can give u a boost.
Dont run away just face it with courage.
