How do i detect arrow key press in a console application?

I am not advocating the use this feature, merely informing you that this is the way to get the arrow keys in a console app. How you use it is entirely up to you.

Use the _getch()[^] function for raw input.

After googling i found that many advise that not to use a _getch() function,y?
