Web service consuming in other web server

Hi Ladies and Gentlemen,

I face a problem with Webservice.

One of my friends created the simple web service and uploaded in their intranet web server (IIS 7).
I have to consume this web service for my side development so I set up similar web service in my own web server and start developing.

Is there any issue when I combine with their web server?
Because I take web service from my own web server (not in their server) although web service does the same function.

Please advise me.
