How to work with Sharepoint search?

I am new to Sharepoint and I wanht to do a site search. I couldn't solve this with the Sharepoint integrated search. There is a MS Fast Search for server 2010, but my server 2008 so I didn't use it either.

I need some information on this. Can anybody help me in this?

Solution 1

The product is called "FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint[^]". So of course you can set it up on a MS Windows Server 2008.
