hi all

i need to develop a web page (form), it is to be uploaded in institution's intranet. this form is to be filled by different users.

i have to maintain the previous filled data in the form as in a table.
that is in the form there, will be columns like name, designation etc....the users in the institute will enter the name and designation one by one when accessing the form.
thus the higher authority can see the data in the web form itself..

which technology is good for that

can i use MS infopath....

plz help me

Do you mean different users to fill different parts of the same instance of the form? If so, this is not advisable... Or each user, based on login, fills a different instance of the form? -- this would be good.

It seems to me like a nice simple project.

To start with I would just use google doc spreadsheet with a form attached.
This way you can build your form until you're happy with it.
Then you could use either asp.net or php depending on what server you can host your service in.
