network monitoring tools projects

i want to develop a network monitoring tool project using java program ... my motive is to develop a GUI first and then in gui i have to show .. 1. a client server chat at two windows 1st showing server chat and 2nd window showing client chat. 2. Bandwidth while transferring a file from server to client and client to server 3.packets lost and received. 4 Response time.

So any body plz help me in doing this.... actually i want source codes in java where i can do this...

So, you don't want to develop the tool. You want someone else to develop it? That's not what we do in Quick Answers. You do the work and, when you hit an issue you can't solve, you ask specific questions.

"I want to develop" vs. "I want source codes". Somehow not the same, eh? Copying source codes doesn't mean, that you have developed something, don't you think so?
