Are you saying that

for instance, when you click a button in c# windows form you should be able to browse and point a folder in the file explorer and then get the path of the folder selected programatically within the c# environment ?

Solution 1

If you mean "how do I get a directory path, rather than a file?" then use the FolderBrowserDialog[^] instead of OpenFileDialog or SaveFileDialog
