how i conmpare whether username is present in database or not by storeprocdure method

Input values: user name, user email id, user contact number (if email id already exists in the database update the name and contact number registered with that email id………if email id doesn’t exist insert all the input values as a new record in to the database)
Output values: Boolean (return string “user already exists” if email id is already there in the db or if the email id given is a new one return a string “user inserted

If you are going to post your homework, at least try to make it look like you have attempted to do something yourself!

We do not do your homework: it is set for a reason. It is there so that you think about what you have been told, and try to understand it. It is also there so that your tutor can identify areas where you are weak, and focus more attention on remedial action.

Try it yourself, or learn the Magic Words: "Do you want fries with that?"
