Make OnPropertyChanged events safe for refactoring

What are users of the class going to expect? If I have a class with a property FnordDesc raises PropertyChanged("FnordDesc") and consumers of my class handles PropertyChanged("FnordDesc"), then even if FnordDesc is renamed to FnordDescription, provided my class and consumers thereof keep using...
