Stepper motors work by energizing the motor's electromagnets in sequence. By energizing then in the opposite sequence the motor can be made to turn in the opposite direction.

There is not enough information in your question to really help you with this. First you need to understand how your current system works, perhaps it uses different parallel port data lines for each each electromagnet. If this is the case then you need to change the order. You will have to look at the vb code that you have to see how you might do achieve this.
