replacement of atoi and atof command

I am using UNIX environment but i made the code in dev-cpp compilor. It is showing error in atoi command. Please tell me the quick function to solve this problem.

Please read the FAQ before posting. You should post the relevant code and the exact error message to get better help. In any case you should read carefully the atoi function documentation[^] in order to use it correctly.

That's probably true, however, 'read the FAQ' is a always good advice, in my opinion.
