Hi There!

Users comes to my site like www.sitename.com/?fr=asd.
I am inserting a record to the db by the 'asd'.
I'm sending a cookie to the client because of i dont want to count user once more.(counting unique users)

But there's a problem with that, my counter shows 1000 unique user but statcounter or analystics shows 100 unique user.
what's the logic of the counting unique users? What im doing wrong?

Thanks.
p.s: sorry for my bad english.

Cookies can be deleted, in which case the user will be counted again. You could do it by IP address, though if the user is working for a company, many people from the same IP address may visit the site, in which case your count would be too low.
