How to Track the Email Open or email read without loading image and calling page?

Actually i need to send a email newsletter to the people. for that, i need to track whether it is view(i.e. mail open) or not. So, i can track with images. but i need to track with out images. can anyone help me

Solution 1

If you put a unique query string value on each email you send, you can remember which ones were requested from the server. i.e. mynewsletter.aspx?id=426. Then look up who 426 is when you're rendering the page, and store that they viewed it.

Where can i set the querystring? the email going as a html page. where i can call to mynewsletter.aspx ?
