Lay off the caps, we can hear you fine. Use your indoor voice.

I did it for you. :-)

A 'must': CodeProject's Useful Reference Books[^].

Great Tool. My 5!

The problem with that is only a lack of review and comparisons on each book.
Nevertheless, you get my 5 for this original idea :-)

Please see my answer as well.

Thanks TweakBrid
You have only one problem: you're looking for "easy books". There is nothing wrong with easy-to-read books. Many such books are written by really knowledgeable and talented authors.

What looks disturbing is that this is the only criterion you pointed out.
Please be advised that if you want to get anything good, it's never easy.

Good luck, best wishes,
—SA

Pick up a Wrox or Orielly book. They should help you get started from the basics and take you to the advanced topics.

Not very instructive, I would say. How about review on each? I would not risk buying a book based on such criteria. My 4 though.

Please see my answer, too.

Well adding to the list of answers here, I would suggest one more thing: TheBeerHouse: CMS and E-Commerce Starter Kit[^] - ASP.NET application to learn from.
