First of all it is not a Visual Studio issue, it is a programming one. But you have tagged the question C++ and C# so we have no idea which language you are using.

We are more than willing to help those that are stuck: but that doesn't mean that we are here to do it all for you! We can't do all the work, you are either getting paid for this, or it's part of your grades and it wouldn't be at all fair for us to do it all for you.

So we need you to do the work, and we will help you when you get stuck. That doesn't mean we will give you a step by step solution you can hand in!
Start by explaining where you are at the moment, and what the next step in the process is. Then tell us what you have tried to get that next step working, and what happened when you did.

We can't do anything with what you have told us: we don't know anything about your system, or how (or where) the data for your receipt is stored, even what language you want to use - and "Visual Studio" isn't a language, or even a framework: it's an IDE or Integrated Development Environment which supports a myriad of languages and frameworks, all of which would need different solutions.

To be honest, this looks like "here is my homework, do it for me" - and we aren't here to do that.

Try some basic input and output tutorial.

tip: it is better to use and learn standard C++ instead of get stuck into the Microsoft swamp ;-)

I hardly think this is worth a 1. Must be some SFB who can't handle C++.

But I wont leave this newbie with some stuff to learn and solve his problem.
Hello, You can use RDLC Reports for making those kind of Receipts in Visual Studio in C#.Net. It Nor require to code that much, its just a 2 or 3 line code and it can be printed to POS Printers.
