Hi I im trying to make a NSIS installer for my windows app the problem is I can't seem to find how to use the language very well; I looked at most all of the examples and I figured out how to use it a little but it would be nice to know if there's like a book or something that listed all the keywords (such as a string, byte, ect...) and showed how to just use the language as a whole (i.e like vb.net)

thanks :-\ :-D

The docs that you download with NSIS are really just for the 'extras', but the online Users Manual[^] is a lot more useful. Or have you found that and are still lost?

NSIS is good sh*t, but it definitely has a learning curve! Takes a bit of time and effort to wrap your skull around it, but it's worth it if you want to do anything nontrivial in an installer.
