When dealing with time selector, what is clear? Do you know the time value "never"? :-)

And why not simply setting current time?

Based on the discussion in the comments to the question: when it comes to time, there is no such concept as "default time" (may be Big Bang or first lines of Old Testament :-)), so there should not be a concept of time "reset". If current time is needed as a result of "reset", why not getting this time using System.DateTime.Now (a static property of System.DateTime) and setting it explicitly?
