Through the article I was able to get all tables, I want to know whether it is possible if I can specify tables for the search and also how can I get the list of tables based on the search and also a unique id (this unique id I want to use to restrict one user search to with the other user)

Yes the javascript is working well. But when I fill the div myDIV with content, I want the div to expand in height and not restrict to 50px.

I tried

But it didn't work.

On clicking button1 the datagridview loads correctly and on clicking button2 I am getting the error at this line
datagridview1.Columns("serial").headerText = "Id"
On debugging I found out that the column contains nothing and not "serial" for button2.

Something like client server programming.

i know how to connect a front end with a back end database... All i wanted to know is how to connect the two front ends in a network...

I meant can you help me with the programming part, a small syntax just to show communication between the Systems.

yes there is authentication and identification... only for the client (i.e one system) not for the staff.
Also the contents displayed on the 3rd screen on processing the client's request has nothing to do with the authentication. The contents displayed will be general.

I meant The third screed screen should act like a notice board sort of.. where the user cannot input anything to it (user should be able to just view the contents displayed on it).

I want 2 different front ends, one for the customers and one for the operator. Both should be a Windows form. (I guess you were confused by the word back-end) using the same database and should run on different computers.
And a third screen to be used just for displaying purpose.

Sorry for the unclear question.
with the word 'event' I meant to say the entry in the calendar app.
Let me clarify it.
what I want is
My app takes in input of dates to be remembered (This part is done)
But when I ON the System I want the app to show the reminder if triggered (that is the event is on that particular day), the app should alert the user with an alarm and a balloon message using the notifyicon without the user starting the app separately.
I also have more doubts..
You said that NotifyIcon" cannot run without the app running, so..
1. If my app is able to trigger the reminder, will my app be running in the background?? (Because I thought only the notifyicon can be initialized at System startup and the app is not required. Sorry for this.. I am using the notifyicon for the first time)
2. Does it use up a lot of memory??

i have made a function which contains the entire try catch block..

HiI have a button on whose click I have the following tasks carried out
1. Captures image from webcam
2. stores it in database

on first click of button, this process carries out successfully but on the next click i get this exception

here id is the name of the number i used to identify the image associated with it.

On the next button click i again get this exception and then the program crashes with this error
Invalid attempt to call Read when reader is closed.
