I've done it using jQuery but yes, we can do this using Angularjs as well.You have to create a module/plugin in angular and it will be done.

I've heard about App_browsers and browser definition file in .Net to make browser compatible and was trying the same. Any idea about that , how it works etc?

I just tried your code after adding reference of google scripts and it worked fine for me. Can you put a breakpoint/debugger in your code where actually the issue is. It might be some settings.

Ok. Then try this:
ScriptManager.RegisterStartupScript(this, GetType(), "errormsg","alert('my message');", true);
I think semi colon is missing in your JS function.

The best way to check the performance will be using perfmon. I'd suggest first publish your app so that all unnecessary symbols will be cleaned up and then analyse the app using perfmon or RedGate ANTS profiler.

better to have a master page for you application and all web pages will be using this. Later if you have to modify, it's the only page you need to alter to reflect on whole web site.

Use AddRange() method of List instead Add. Like below:
string[] input = { "Apple",
"Orange",
"Apricots" };
List<string> fruits= new List<string>();
Console.WriteLine("\nAddRange(fruits)");
fruits.AddRange(input);
Console.WriteLine();
foreach( string fruit in fruits)
{
Console.WriteLine(fruit);
}
