I have created an .aspx page which is used to upload the excel file and submit it into the database..I have written the back end code to do so for the button click..Now the data is saving in sql table..but now how to get the values according to the requirement is where i am struck..

thanks for the reply prabakr.. but the thing is like i don't have a column called salary and all the data is saved as a row to the empid..
To clearly tel u.. it is inserted from a excel sheet..
where the columns will be as empid,dept,desg,Jan-11,Feb-11.Mar-11
and so on it continues.. an I have that of 3 years data.. from that i want to know what is the max salary of an individual employee and know the date and hike salary if any hikes are there to that particular employee..

this is like Task Reminder..
So i need to insert a new row when ReminderDate is reached Today's Date. I am getting this. but it is dng for only one record. i want it to check all d rows in the gridview..
Also important thing is that it should run only once in a day.. so i am writing this as static method in global.asax page. using thread

I have a table that has columns as UserID,TaskID,ReminderDate,Task,TaskType,TaskStatus.
Here TaskType is Daily,Weekly,Monthly,Yearly,Today,None.
Now i need to insert a new row in the table as per a condition (when the date in the Reminder Date matches with today's Date).
This should run only once in a day. And the inserted row values should be same(except TaskID, as taskid is set to increment by '1') as the before row but the Reminder Date should be changed(as per the TaskType selected).

Here I am developing an windows application which stores the intime and outtime of an employee using Employee Id. status is used to know whether employeee is IN or OUT.
I have done all this stuff.
Now i need to send an email which carries the details where status is equal to IN. and this process should be done for evrey 30 min.
Also i need to calculate the differene between Outtime and intime that is total working hours.

thank you for the post.. Using the timer is ok. But how about fetching the records from database and send them as an attachment basing on the condition where status = "in".
