Only by hardcoding it, not dynamically. Unless you make your code recompile itself with the newly acquired data (not a realistic option to pursue).

Isn't it possible to put the objects in a collection (any IEnumerable implementation, like List) and set the datagrid's DataSource to it? One might also look into a BindingSource, possibly a custom one.

Isn't a List just an implementation of IList which in turn is an implementation of IEnumerable? And why use a List with a KeyValuePair? Wouldn't it be easier to use a Dictionary?

I don't think there's a way to bind your objects directly to the XML without having to serialize in between that.

How do you retrieve the data? Maybe you can edit your query to GROUP BY.

You're right. Any() returns a bool. SelectAll() however returns a collection. Wouldn't it be easier to create and more readable to loop through the collection this way with a foreach loop?

Won't this start all the videos simultaneously, or in the case the standard video player can only be opened once, quickly skip all and just play the last video in the folder?

How do you store this number in your program? And what is the cell value in Excel (check the formula bar), it might just be the formatting that truncates the leading zero, not the actual exported value.

There's also a string.LastIndexOf() method which accepts either a string or a char.

Okay, you probably have your reasons for that :). I don't know the specifics of the problem, but I assume you already defined custom colums (with the posted code), which is why you can't directly bind the datatable to the DataGridView, but want to set the columns individually, correct?

I suggest taking a look at ObjectListView. It'll make your life a hell of a lot easier if you want to do more advanced stuff with DataGrids.
