sorry bro i was out side so not able to reply you but when you working with Form based application their is no need to write Gridview1.DataBind() becz you can't access DataBind() over their so ignore them and only write code as if (ds.Tables[0].Rows.Count != 0)
{
dataGridView1.DataSource = ds.Tables[0];
}

"demo" is user define value you can pass any type of string over their and type your successful message inside of "alert()" box...it's working fine i already test it in my application......:-)

Actually this one is the best answer dear....because session in Inproc mode it's directly store in server memory as per period of given session timeout.
