hey ryan you shouldn't confuse.... do one thing take 2 checkbox and make their Enable property of one checkbox false and another true then you can see what is the difference of both. Which checkbox Enable property is true I just want that type of checkbox but avoiding select option.I hope it will make you clear.

PageIndex is not a boolean property so we can't enable that, we can set or get the value into/from PageIndex in gridview.

I am just checking that a particular directory is present or not but I did it in Form1_Paint event but when I pressed my shortcut key the form should get activate but it is not activating.

My requirement is when my form will run for the very first time it will ask for some settings to filled up, and after that when ever my application will start it should not ask for the settings again and it will go to hide state but it will keep running at the background.Suppose I want to stop my application then I can stop using some shortcut key(I am using Shift+alt+h).

If I will comment this line the code is working fine for the shortcut key and if I will uncomment it then it is not working.Sp please suggest me it is giving me so much stress.

Thanks for your reply but it is still not working for me.I did like this as the way you suggest.two textbox's created when i clicked on button1 but when I am entering some value into those two textbox's and click on button2 it unable to find those two new generated textbox's.I traced the program but when i press button2 the page is reloading so the new generate dynamic controls are also loading for that it value,id every thing vanish I think.try once,thanks once again Amit for your reply

Thank you very much Prasad for your solution it is useful for me but my requirement is little different,means take one example i have a textbox and we need to enter one IP address of a system among all the system(which are connected in a network(LAN))and based on that IP address we have to find OS information and MAC address will you please help me m stocked any advice will appreciate.
