You have code like this
if(starflag=="1"){
return '<img src="wcp/theme/default/icon/action/star_icon1.png" />';
}
change it like this
if(starflag=="1"){
return '<img src="wcp/theme/default/icon/action/star_icon1.png" onclick="test()" />';
}

Attache a click event to the img tag, that should make the things work.

Just clear the textbox values at the end of click event.
$('#save').click(function() {
...//existing code
$("input[name='job_title']").val("");
$("input[name='from']").val("");
$("input[name='to']").val("");
$("input[name='total experience']").val("");
$("input[name='industries']").val("");
});

What is your object structure?
Is it like,
item=[{Age:3,Altered:false,HintingNumber:null,Sex:"N"},
{Age:5,Altered:false,HintingNumber:null,Sex:"M"}]
If so, then loop on item not on item.Sex
ex: $.each(item,function(I,item1){
if(item1.Sex=='N'){
$("#ddlSex option[value='" + item1 + "']").attr("selected", true);
}
});

I'm assuming the item object will look like below,
Code:
var item = [];
item.Sex = ['N', 'M'];
$.each(item.Sex, function (i, item1) {
if (item1 == 'N') {
$("#ddlSex option[value='" + item1 + "']").attr("selected", true)
}
});
hope this works for you.

Why are you binding model two times?
@model C3CardKYC.Models.intermediate
@Model C3CardKYC.Models.detailslistmodel
View doesn't accept binding of model two times. Either you bind only one model or create a view model.

Hey PrachiMhatre, referring to your code, write a onclick event to each anchor tag. In onclick event prevent default behaviour and then using form id set the action.

If you are using JQueryUI, you need to have jquery-ui.min.css,jquery-ui.min.js (which you can downlod from http://jqueryui.com/download/) and jquery-1.10.2.min.js (http://jquery.com/download/) no package is required to instal.

Is it possible for you to share the GetData method's code?

Then obviously it will throw exception.
What are you returning from GetData method??
If you are returning View then change it to JsonResult and return the data you wanted to return

Can you check what that GetData method is returning??
Is it JsonResult or View?
If its View then check the corresponding cshtml or aspx page is available

As the check box is generated dynamically change event won't be fired, so in the example you have got instead of .change use .on or .live event. As .on or .live will attach events to dynamically created elements.
I'm just altering your above code,
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function () {
//set initial state.
$('#MainContent_chkBttn').on("change", function () {
if ($(this).is(":checked")) {
var returnVal = confirm("hello Checkbox checked");
$(this).attr("checked", returnVal);
}
});
});</script>
Hope this helps..
