Why do you want to create that default method as web method? i would suggest just make it as simple method and call this method everytime your any of your web method called. I mean first statement of your any method should be call to your test1() method. In this way you are not exposing your method to the end user and achieving your functionality although.

Please check that order of Loading Row and your Click on Header. I think it will first call your Loading Row. What you can do is create one page level variable and assigned it with first time true and then once loadingrow is completed make it false after that when your header gets clicked at that time this variable value will be false and in your loading row mechanism you can check this global variable value. This might be dirty trick. but i think will work for you,

here dv.RowFilter will not return boolean type so it wont get into if loop. can you check is it going into if loop and second thing here is that as u had taken two things DataView and datatable so they both will work as differently. Here I think problem with the SQL Query which is generated is looking problamatic. So what i would suggest please check SQL Query statement before execution of cmd.ExecuteNonQuery command
and second thing i would suggest at Database Proceduere level that u can add logging of your executing query and by means of profiling u can get that what is the exact query is running and what makes it problamatic.

As per your Error Messsage, It is Clearly Indicates that sometimes your machine disconnects from server machine due to some issue.
