Oracle 32 Bit windows7 32 bit
not 2 servers my question is can i use it(win7 system) as server to install oracle that system stores data comes from clients. is there any difference between installing oracle on win7 and win2008 server to store data from clients

but no Rupee symbol is added to char code table
so the solution to that is is define user defined character

[Name] Define user-defined characters
[Format] ASCII ESC & y c1 c2 [x1 d1 ... d(y × x1)] ... [xk d1 ... d(y × xk)]
Hex 1B 26 y c1 c2 [x1 d1 ... d(y × x1)] ... [xk d1 ... d(y × xk)]
Decimal 27 38 y c1 c2 [x1 d1 ... d(y × x1)] ... [xk d1 ... d(y × xk)]

can any one please guide me how to define user defined char and how to use it
with sample

printstring+=logostr

logo is ASCII codes
Chr(29) + Chr(40) + Chr(76) + Chr(6) + Chr(0) + Chr(48) + Chr(69) + Chr(48) + Chr(49) + Chr(1) + Chr(2)
stored in database retrieving using the data reader.
it is coming from database correctly but printing the same

if i put directly in my vb code it its printing the logo but when i retieve it from database in to one string it is print like this only

not exactly because if i substitute the same in
printstring+=Chr(29) + Chr(40) + Chr(76) + Chr(6) + Chr(0) + Chr(48) + Chr(69) + Chr(48) + Chr(49) + Chr(1) + Chr(2)
it is printing the logo but when i inserted it in into the database and retrieving for the substitution it is not printing the logo but printing this

in my vb code it will be static i just want to store this in database table then user can modify according to his requirement if he want to to print 2nd logo from printer storage then he can update database table

if i use the same string in my vb code it is printing but when i retrieve from database it is not printing the logo but printing the same string as is
ok
