Thanks, but I don't have any problem with database in ASP.NET.
This is the first time that I want to publish my simple website on a local server. Even my simple website works on IIS7.5 in Windows7, but doesn't work on Windows Server 2008 R2 and that's my problem.
Thank's again.

Because I have already inserted the result(a record!) into the table, so the result should be a found record! But it doesn't work, and I don't know why!!

My OS is 7 and my system is ASUS,6GB RAM, intel CORE i5.
The error is still shown!
The error is in this section:
if (InvokeRequired)
{
The error is here-->Invoke(new MethodInvoker(delegate { partition(low, high, l_arr); }));
}
else
{
progressBar1.Value++;
}

Yes, your code doesn't have any problem; because you didn't use 'Thread'!! but when I use Thread, it does!
The code I use:
int[] data = new int[5000000];
Random rand = new Random();
for (int i = 0; i < 5000000; i++)
{
data[i] = rand.Next();
}
Thread t = new Thread(delegate() { QuickSort(0, data.Length - 1, data); });
t.Start();
This has a problem (stack overflow)!!

Thank you OriginalGriff!
What you said works in merge sort without any problems, but in quick sort doesn't work and I encounter to 'stack overflow' error in 2% progress with a 500000-element-file!!
The error is:
'An unhandled exception of type 'System.StackOverflowException' occurred in mscorlib.dll'
what should I do now? what do you suggest me to do?
As a general rule, what is the solution for such errors?
And I've changed 'ShowProgressBar' function and updated the post!
