button causing a full page post ... i need full page post for the rest of the value.
After i click on button , The div i am working on will hide and 2 more hidden div become visible , which make a a call to database to update grid and my print div. in my print div i need selected date

Above code just work fine , only i need to change dateformat. I tried your solution ,but i still no luck.

I have a new question. I have a Button called "Get all" , which is not part of GridView . I want get the index of all the row ,which check box is clicked.

Detail:

After my grid View load. User can click as many as check box or all the check box from the grid view. Then there is button out side the grid View called "Get All". So when user click on "Get ALL" button , i want to get all the check box clicked row index.

But i did find solution which is probably not the right way to do , but as for now it working.

well on my aspx page code behind I wrote following code

Dim _usercontrol As UserControl = LoadControl("~\Usercontrols\dashboard_Employer.ascx")
EmpDashboard.Controls.Add(_usercontrol)

I remove public property of User Control EMPID , but i am passing a session variable with me value and before my control render i am getting the value from session variable i am passing to my usercontrol, And it work just the way i wanted .

But if any one has good solution please share with me.

Because i am not assigning my user control from asp page. what i am doing is :

Finding and adding my usercontrol to my parent page as follwing:

Next step is to pass value as you said up. but _usercontrol.valueID= 25 . Gives error

Problem was , I didn't Used DIV in my aspx page . When i put my code in div and use the reference of the div then it work.

Well what i am trying to do here is . i have 100 label name are lable1 to lable100. I can do like label1 =1 and label2 =2 and so on but i am trying to put in loop so i have less code. just for the Info... This code work but not in Page_Load , I am thinking every one looking to the code but this has to do with page life cycle

How i used popup window in usercontrol?

I can use popup window on my aspx page, But my aspx page has a user Control and i want to use popup window in my user control. Problem is when i put code in my aspx page its work ,but i want my code in User control . when ever i put my popup window code in user control its not working.

I think its not getting references of .js files.

i am getting data in 2010 which is also in 2011. But if they are in 2011 don't , then query should filter those record.

i am checking if user claimed there account yet . if user has claimed there account then Status of the user should be (Claimed) , if not then Status should be (unclaimed).

i created a column called (Status).Now i need to add data in this column. But i don't know how i should do this? As i explained in my question . if (SP USER id)column has any kind of data ,(Status)column value should be Claimed . This list has 500 rows. so each row if (SP USER IF) column has value then (Status) column value Claimed.

i am one more question. how do i use validations in same webpart. (for example: i want no field should be empty) i know i to it in ASP.net but i am using only C# .

i crated a Web part , which i basically Email formatted. i have name textbox, Emailaddress textbox, phonnumber textbox , message textbox, a send button and cancel button.
Its work fine , but i want when user click on send button or cancel button it redirect to given url. But i don;t know how to do that.

My Config file settings is good. All the other stuff i put on , just for the hack.

I am working on my TASK 3. "Create a section that allows the user to email SleepAccess and request personal information to be changed." How i do this one? following two steps are done. As you can see in my TASK 3. do i need to create a page for that or workflow ? As a requirement i should have a link "Email to admin" .... for that do i need to create a page , for user after click on "Email to Admin" ?
