Even setting it like that displays the tooltip at the top, on the left hand side, and not where the mouse cursor is.

I have edited my post to contain my code before and after the animation. I am still new to this type of development, so any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Please correct me if I am wrong, or just being blind here, but I cannot seem to see where you are setting the DataSource property of the Grid? You are binding something, not sure what, but the result set returned from your stored procedure should be set as the Grid's Datasource, before attempting to bind it.

Thanks for the clarity. I have checked the source of the page now, and the file is added to the Head of the page

what do you mean when you say "I think the jquery-1.4.1.min.js file is getting linked"?

Even when using synchronous, sending the second time does not send data to the server. although the socket is connected.

yes, using Encoding.ASCII.GetString() method. I was hoping I could avoid that process.

Okay, I get what you are saying. Another problem is that sometimes it is in front of the text and other times at the end of the text. There is no specification as to state that the bytes will have trailing/leading characters indicating that the message starts here and ends here.

The assembly does not contain or does not depend on any other assemblies.

When I use the following: Assembly a = Assembly.LoadFrom("C:\\temp\\HELLO.dll");
Console.WriteLine(a.ToString());
Console.WriteLine(a.GetName().Name);
output: HELLO, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null
HELLO
where should I go from here? What does all of these ouputs mean?
I understand how to invoke the methods, but seem a bit lost with finding the class name, and the namespace name

here is the PDU.Packet class:
public class PDUPacket
{
public uint Length = 0x00;
public Command_ID CmdID = Command_ID.none;
public Command_status CmdStatus = Command_status.ESME_ROK;
public uint SeqNo = 0x00;
public List<object> Body = new List<object>();
}
should I add the encoder source code?? maybe something is wrong?

sorry if I am mistaken, but when encoding to the pdu, will the 0x0000000 in front of the 9 not change the format of the pdu?

I have added the finally block code, and changed the WriteToQueue(string QueueName, object messageObject) to WriteToQueue(string QueueName, string message) and it seems to be working fine for now. thanks

sorry if that came out rude, didn't mean it to sound like that. Thanks for pointing that out, I would not have noticed that bug until a later stage.

okay, this was just a rough draft code, but adding the finally block does not solve my problem.

I have checked, and the xDoc is not null, it contains the XML file, XElement x is not null, it contains values. the error is given at _msisdn.add((int)x); Is this not maybe because it is expecting me to create a new list, like List<int> _msisdn = new List<int>(); I do not want to do it like that, I want to be able to use the list data type in the property

I'm still a student, and its holidays now, so I'm working on a little slot machine, with 3 rows and 5 columns (3 rows and 5 reels) and I'm doing this circular list to prevent the same picture from appearing in the same reel

I see I cant access an item in a linked list by index, for instance linkedlist[5]; Can this circular effect be accomplished with any other collection type like Hashtable, array, list?

Okay, if I want to loop through the objects in the stack, how do I go about that using a for loop? I cant use stack.pop(), since this removes the item on top of the stack, and if I use stack.peek(), it only returns the item at the top. Can I create this circular effect with a normal list/image list/array/hashtable? I see I cant access a object by index in stack, but with the other collection types I can?

I am not currently working in asp.net. I want to know when starting a custom control project, what project type do you choose? should it be a class library? I want to be able to reference the control in other projects of mine.

thanks for the post. I am totally new to this, what I don't understand is, when the card image is loaded into the picturebox, how will I know the value of that card based on the enums above? sorry if this question is irrelevant, but I still dont know how to link the values of the enum to the actual card image?

using the AddNode method, I have added the following four nodes to the treeView:
Year2011 //this is the root main node
a //child of Year2011
b //child of Year2011
c //child of Year2011
Currently the nodes are all in a hierarchy form, but when writing these nodes to the xml file, the output looks as follow:
<year2011>abc
when I read the nodes from the xml file back into my treeView, it shows the nodes a, b, and c, as one node with the text concatenated. i want the nodes to be written to the xml file as seperate nodes, not to be concatenated, and when the nodes are read back from xml file, I want it to be displayed in a hierarchy again

Here is the AddNode method:
public void AddNode()
{
if (this.treeView1.SelectedNode != null)
{
NewNode newNode = new NewNode();
newNode.ShowDialog();
TreeNode tNode = new TreeNode();
tNode.Name = newNode.nName.ToString();
tNode.Text = newNode.nText.ToString();
this.treeView1.SelectedNode.Nodes.Add(tNode);
}
else
{
NewNode neNode = new NewNode();
neNode.ShowDialog();
TreeNode tnode = new TreeNode();
tnode.Name = neNode.nName.ToString();
tnode.Text = neNode.nText.ToString();
this.treeView1.Nodes.Add(tnode);
}
this.treeView1.ExpandAll();
}
if, for instance, the first node to be added is "hahaha", and on to that, I add three child nodes a, b, c, everything works fine, but when the data is written to the xml file, the root node is seen as a single node, but if the root node's children have no children, they are concatenated! This might be as I made the text OuterXml if the children have no children. The xmlnode has no Text property, only a Name property, and when choosing the Name property, it only returns #text

firstly i load the images out of the resources file into an Image array. then in the buttons click event i declared a random class which chooses a random picture out of the array and places it in an individual picturebox. this process happens for every picturebox on my form.
