I didn't understand much wut evr u said, but what i can tell you is that the 80 % of the tool is already created, to create the connection string user gets a pop for the first time and the connection string gets stored in the registry, i want to do a same kind of a thing using web services, please let me know in details wut do i need - this is not a client project, this is something which we are going to use internally hence not much complications needed

Thanks for your suggestion, to be very true i didn't understand what do u meant by parameterised queries, and u have guessed it right i am doing it for my own project, i also didn't understand - how any one can make disaster to my DB. Please explain

Hi Arun Thanks for replying, i am using SQLserver 2005 management studio and i am using the same attributes, for my local machine i have no problem but when i am trying to access my local server from a different machine using my application, i am getting that particular error, i believe in this situation i need a correct connection string

Thanks a lot for your help William, i ll definitely try to implement the same, but i have a doubt for the first part of the program - if u look at my previous code i have declared different variable names for all the user, all the attributes, using the loop how will i access those variables - i m not clear on that part, though i have tried with the following , but it doesn't work.
