Hi Srimanch,
Thanks for the suggestion. But I have to use Microsoft membership provider thing. Any idea on how that can be implemented for this scenario?

I tried that. I got an error saying - "The source file is different from when the module was built. would you like the debugger to use it anyway?" I said No, It asked for the Default.aspx.cs file location and I gave the path. Then next error is the webException error, which I have mentioned above.

Thanks for the link Abhinav, but What is in the link is changing the row color of grid which I have already done. What I want is, changing it in the dynamically binding data table before binding it to the grid. According to Sandeep's answer, I assume its not possible but Please feel free to share if you have any other suggestions :)

But i'm accessing the elements using gridviewrow element. Here is the code i'm using.
protected void GridView1_RowDataBound(object sender, GridViewRowEventArgs e)
{
if (e.Row.RowType == DataControlRowType.DataRow)
{
for (int i = 4; i < 8; i++)
{
string s = e.Row.Cells[i].Text;
int num = int.Parse(s);
if (num < 0)
e.Row.Cells[i].ForeColor = System.Drawing.Color.Red;
}
}
How shall I do that in a outside function?

I tried but still I can not put any other controls on that. I also tried putting all the controls first and then applying background image, in this case few controls won't apper on the screen.

Hi Narsimlu,
Thanks for the code. It solved both the problems. I have used that code in master page but I could not able to add any controls on that page.
Where should I add that code and other controls?
