Thanks for the effort Marcus. I am not trying to use the sa account. I did attempt to state in the original post that I have authorization set to both. Not always easy be brief and clear.

Pretty sad actually, I thought my recent experience on the Java platform was bad, I was wishing I was on the MS platform, but now that I am again, this is far worse. I have two critical components of the MS development environment (VS, SQL Server) that supposedly integrate allowing the use of the Entity Framework tools but I am blocked from doing any of that.
