Okay, I have no idea what you mean by "same box". I don't use services and stuff for a very long time (so please be gentle :) ).
Anyway... As far as I understand your reponse: It's not possible. Use database instead or parameters in the calls to the methods.
True? If so, I can use a database. That was my second option, but I want to know for sure I cannot use the web.config of the website.

Hi Reiss,

I have used to stopwatch, but it was not accurate enough. I tested this with the same file, 4 times. First time was 0,01 ms, second time also, third time was 0,51 ms and the fourth time was 0,1 ms. You see my point?
I guess the third time my laptop was busy, so the application had a hickup?

Works great! I changed it a little bit, 'cause I'm not working with textboxes (or textarea's). I'm working with div's. Perhaps you can tell me how to auto scroll down in a div? If you can tell me that I'm done with this issue.

Yup, I also tried that. Sorry, did not work either.

The strange thing is that hiding the button by CSS works fine. When I use that the button is hidden and the code behind (btn_Click i.e.) is fired.

You made me think of something... What if the modaldelete.ReturnResult += new Usercontrols_Modal.ResultCompletedEventHandler(modaldelete_ReturnResult); is in the wrong position? So I put that line in the Page_Load... And it works!
A little bit of a noob action of me, but I'm not perfect ;)

Okay, cool (added to my script)... But this.ReturnResult is always null in my case, so it will never be fired. How can I make it.... not null?

humm, I have looked into the two options, but did not figure out how to solve my problem. I think the best way for now is to make a small example, outside my current project, and post the XAML and stuff here. That way we can make it work with code we see. When that works I can use it in the current project. Will post the code soon

Thanks for the code. I will look at it. In the meanwhile... I had a "bright light"... I'm also using a class. I declared a variable on static level. When the usercontrol (menu) is made that variable is filled with the usercontrol. That way all other pages and usercontrols can access the menu. Problem solved.

Yes, Iknow, but!... I need to add the website (like www.thewebsite.com) to IIS, not on the localhost. I need to set the binding straight.
Anyway, not really an anwser. I would like to know WHY I cannot navigate while the website is bound to IIS while it works fine in VS2010 (i.e. http://localhost:1234).

I use the local IIS for testing first. This is my first step towards live. What I do:
1. I make de silverlight app (duh!)
2. I add a new website to IIS and point it to the folder of the silverlight app.

This should work, right? Or am I saying something really stupid? ;)

But the selectedindex can change to, as said before. I'll try the selecteditem first. If that does not work I'll have to find something different. My problem isn't that hard, right? :)

Ps. I love the itemtemplates. Makes designing a lot easier :)
